A life in progress — with a side of finance chaos.
Let me be upfront: this is not a finance blog. Well — not just a finance blog. Messy Money is really a blog about my life. The everyday moments, the random Tuesday thoughts, the detours and decisions. It just so happens that somewhere along the way, I started stumbling into the world of personal finance — and I’m dragging you along for the ride.
Think of it as a diary written by someone who googled “what is an index fund” more recently than they’d like to admit.
“Real life first. Finance lessons second. Laughing about it always.”
I write about what’s actually happening in my life — and then find the money angle hiding inside it. Because money is everywhere once you start looking: in the choices we make, the habits we form, the goals we write down in January and quietly abandon by March (no judgment, I’ve been there too).
I’m not a financial advisor. Not an economist. Not someone who had it all figured out early. I’m just a person finding my way into the finance world — one slightly humorous, occasionally chaotic, always honest story at a time.

I post when life gives me something worth writing about — which, honestly, is pretty often. No stiff editorial calendar. Just me, my thoughts, and whatever financial rabbit hole I fell into that week.
Still figuring it out, but having fun doing it —
