Broke, Tired and Somehow Still Here

Messy Week #1

I know, I know, I talked about a big surprise for this week and all, but I am just too tired — but here we are anyway.

This blog is in dire need of something, something that will spice things up a little bit, something that will make it different from the others, and I might have found the perfect idea for it.

You might have already seen the 2nd title — Messy Week.

About 2 weeks ago I made this really bad decision to review my life in the year 2025 — my 1st worst decision of 2026.

Till this review I was okay with things in life, but after that horrible exercise I learned that most of my plans for 2025 were pure failures and I felt like a loser.

But I can’t and won’t quit, that’s why I came back with 2026 resolutions. I may have failed once, but twice is not an option.

So to make sure that the 2026 resolutions are fulfilled, I need to do something.

That something is this new series — every week I come and talk about my week. It might be bad, good, or even ugly.

Based on the looks of it, it’s mostly going to be ugly for me. From the start itself I know that this will be a mess.

But it is my mess, so ladies and gentlemen, let’s begin — and drum rolls please — let’s begin.

LET’S BEGINNNNNNN (not in budget to put fireworks but please imagine fireworks)

Where Did My Money Go? A Mystery

Everybody and their grandmother is coming and telling me that I owe them money. I have no idea who these people even are, so clearly I have been doing something wrong.

To find this out and plug this leak is my first job.

This should not be happening to me. I am supposed to be the money and finance guru — at least look at the name of the blog, man!

How can I even give advice to somebody when I can’t even keep my money in my pocket?

Before I become a millionaire, I need to figure out the key to not becoming a beggar.

By my estimate, I am in debt of about 2000 rupees minimum and will need to clear this within this month to keep my life moving — or else I might as well lay down and wait for the creditors to come and pick me up.

The Guru Goes Back to class

The second thing to do is complete Phase 1 of my studies. This is the main objective because I have noticed that Marvel and my Phase 1 are quite similar in some regards — why?

Because both of us took years to complete it.

My Phase 1 began about a year ago and I am still nowhere near completing it. And this is supposed to be the easy one. God knows about Phases 2 and 3.

I am hoping that by the time I complete Phase 3, GTA 6 will have been released — but needless to say, I believe I am the stronger favourite to complete mine before Rockstar completes theirs.

They Thought I Was Gone

The key positive of the week is that I went back to the gym after nearly a month of skipping it due to laziness.

Just after 45 minutes of working out I went back to bed, running on empty — because working out after 3 weeks of not working out is not the same.

I thought I was the same but my body had other ideas. Within 45 minutes I almost saw stars — actual stars — in the middle of the gym.

My trainer saw me and I explained that I was out due to the holidays and he said “well you should have taken 1 more week off, then you could have tallied it at 1 month.”

Still not sure if he was serious or just pulling my leg.

But one thing is certain — I need to show that guy who the boss is. So no breaks for some time, even if my legs are hanging out and begging for mercy.

Black in not the new Black

A money blog should not be this depressing to look at. I need to add some color and give it a lighter tone. Right now it is more like Blackity Blackity Black Black.

Well, well, well. I thought black looked cool 2 years ago but right now I feel like a corporate guy in a suit selling street food. If not serious then why the serious shape? Colors are coming, I think, maybe — the color will return in Avengers Doomsday.

Catch Up

New here? This will make more sense if you go through these first.

For the random 1 person who might have suffered to the end of this — go do something with your life. You surely don’t hate yourself this much to suffer through this.

You are going to get better.

And if you still insist on staying and reading, you might as well leave a comment. The offer still stands — 1st comment on this blog gets a special mention in my biography.
